What is the working principle of electric gate valve

The electric soft sealing gate valve adopts the top-loading structure, which reduces the connecting bolts of the valve body itself on the condition of high pressure and large diameter, enhances the reliability of the valve and can overcome the influence of the system weight on the normal operation of the valve and overcomes the poor sealing performance of the general gate valve, fatigue elasticity, rust easily and other defects. The soft sealing gate valve utilizes the compensation effect of the elastic gate to produce a small amount of deformation to achieve a good sealing effect. The valve has significant advantages such as light switch, reliable sealing, good elastic memory and long service life.

Electric gate valve principle:

The electric gate valve, as the name implies, uses an electric actuator to control the gate valve. It is mainly divided into an upper part and a lower part. The upper part is an electric actuator and the lower part is a gate valve. The actuator and the gate valve are connected, and the electric actuator controls the opening and closing of the gate valve to work to achieve the on-off of the pipeline medium. Gate valves are generally suitable for on-off occasions and are normally open or normally closed valves. If the working conditions need to be adjusted, the electric regulating valve, electric ball valve, electric butterfly valve, electric globe valve, etc. are generally used.

Electric gate valve working principle:

The electric gate valve is powered by electric energy to connect the electric actuator to drive the valve, and the valve stem is connected to drive the valve plate to move up and down or open and close, so as to control and use the valve on the switch of the pipeline medium.

After adding accessories such as control box, it can be controlled remotely, which is convenient and trouble-free.

Electric gate valve actuator classification:

There are two common types of Rotary electric actuators and  Linear electric actuators.

Rotary electric actuator: The rotary elctric actuator is used in conjunction with the rotary motion valve to realize the internal rotation of the valve within 90 degrees to control the on-off of the pipeline fluid.

Linear electric actuator:  The linear electric actuator is used in conjunction with the liner motion valve to realize the up and down movement of the valve plate to control the on-off of the pipeline fluid. It is usually used in conjunction with equipment with a higher degree of automation.
